Move aside RtA and look out UNRAVEL, there are some edgy denim motifs that are coming out of the next generation of designers. AT the Cal Poly Pomona Fashion Show, I was able to meet some talented designers that are moving towards re-shaping the fashion industry. Ulises Mayorga, one of the designers from the show, created a collection encompassing garments made of reconstructed denim. This eco-friendly, recycler-loving trend is when denim is thrown away or donated and then brought back to life by using the denim textile and applying it to construct a new garment. 

Inspired by Levis, each denim piece is a reconstructed Levis design. Every piece of the garment was individually sewn, torn, and applied by Ulises himself.
